The Asociation Of Telugu Medical Graduates in USA (ATMGUSA) is an umbrella organizatisn of almost 8,600 Indian American Physicians living in the US. Our members hail from Andhra Pradesh,Telangana, the Telugu speaking community and this group consists of physicians, dentists, and medical scientists. This organization is a nonprofit with 501-C tax exemption I .D. #01-0822348. Initiated by a group of AAPI past presidents, in 2004, the members are graduates of 43 Medical/ 17 Dental Colleges of Telugu speaking states as well as others across world.

The Mission of ATMGUSA is to participate in medical education throughout Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and to develop a high quality rural health program that is accessible and affordable irrespective of economic status. The program is a comprehensive community based program with emphasis on prevention and primary care with ongoing partnership of governmental / non governmental organizations.

Having alumni to promote education and health care in their parent institution.

The main objectives include:

§ To bring together individuals and organizations of physicians, dentists and other medical scientists, including students of human sciences of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, practicing in the United States of America

§ To organize and meet for scientific, educational, cultural, and charitable purposes.

§ To assist students and physicians of Medicine, Dentistry from Andhra Pradesh,Telangana to obtain scientific training in the United States.

§ To conduct seminars and other educational programs in order to acquaint members with new scientific developments in the field of Human Medicine.

§ To support and foster the availability of medical assistance to the indigenous people in the United States and India.

To contribute to other organizations (that qualify as an exempt organizations under Section 501-C (3) of the Internal Revenue course of 1986 or corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue Law). Membership is open to all medical, dental, and science doctorates/graduates and other medical alumni association members from the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, India who live in the US or India.

I would like to congratulate A.P.M.G. and Dr. Vemuri S. Murthy for establishing the AHA International Training Center in Vijayawada and instituting BLS certification for all Interns in Andhra Pradesh. I am looking forward to working with all of you to further our goals.

2.GMCANA building PodilaGmcana hospital with $ 3 million donation, at GGH Guntur.Has done more than 100 cardiac surgeries.

3.RMCANA Has build Golden jubliee Library At RMC Kakinada,water plant at their mens hostel.

4.AMCANA contributed $50,000 to Cyclone fund.

With the collective strength of alumni associations from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana we can come together to make a difference in improving the quality of healthcare within our home statesand country
